We walked everywhere, the location was marvellous and lovely, on the Seafront at Southsea. Visited a few interesting places, including Mathew Street, located a 10-15 minute walk from the venue.
Views appeared to be not so great.

Beautiful old and exceptional place, it has very competent staff especially receptionists and serving staff in restaurant. The setting is incredible and wonderful, close enough to shops and restaurants, and the ferry terminal-perfect location. It's approx 10-15 minutes' walk from Koh Thai Southsea, spent evening there.

We absolutely loved our stay at this downtown hotel. The location was perfect, as everything we wanted to see and do was within walking distance. We didn't mind paying for parking because it was convenient to have our car parked at the hotel and explore the city on foot. The room was amazing and incredibly comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the free breakfast, which exceeded our expectations. The hotel staff was exceptional, with fast response times for maintenance requests. We reported a minor issue with the elevator, and it was fixed within minutes.

Stayed in this property for 1 night and thoroughly enjoyed our choice. The hotel was fairly clean, quaint, had incredibly welcoming and exceptionally pleasant staff especially receptionists and serving staff in restaurant. The location was awesome, very close to Battle of Trafalgar. It was reasonably large and recently upgraded, good enough for party. The restaurant was lovely and the breakfast was nice hot with superbly rare beef and elements missing, for example.
